We are excited to finally officially introduce our new co-host, Esthela Davila. She’s been on the show since the beginning of the year, but since we already had scheduled the shows we never got a chance to really find out more about her. We start with the usual question of what was her first craft beer. From there we do a follow-up to the Thorn Brewing conversation from Episode 136.5. We take a small break and come back wondering why Esthela said yes to join the show. During the discussion, we pivot to her love of drinking #SDBeer and how it has changed since joining the show. We then delve into a few questions from Matthew Garcia.
Matthew Garcia – therealmatatat
- The demographics of consumers in beer are mainly Caucasian. Which indie breweries located in San Diego would you say are the most welcoming to minorities in the community and why?
- What could other indie breweries do to be more inviting to minorities?
- What beer style or ingredient in beer can she not stand?
- Opinion on TVs in breweries/bars.
In the News
- Stone sues MillerCoors for the name “Stone” on their new Keystone Light cans. Read more about the lawsuit here and here and here.
